This workshop offers a refresher on how to use sources with integrity and develop your own ideas through engagement with those sources. The Honor Council frequently sees student papers that present problems with following the standards of the Harvard College Honor Code. To address these problems, this workshop will review rules of citation, academic integrity policies (including AI), and best practices for avoiding plagiarism and other problems. Each of these areas has become more complicated in the world of generative AI. This workshop will help you think through how to apply best practices to the work you do and meet the high standards expected of Harvard students.

Presenters:

Karen Heath, Associate Director of the Harvard College Writing Program

Tad Davies, Senior Preceptor in Expository Writing
