We have a fantastic opportunity to support one of our own. On Sunday November 13 @ 10am, Res Tutor Benny will lead a group of Winthrop students on a walk/run in support of Winthropian Ben Abercrombie.

The Harvard Gazette did a story on “3.2 for Ben” and Ben was even featured on ESPN’s College Gameday. Ben’s resilience never ceases to amaze and inspire me—I am incredibly excited that we have this opportunity to show support for Ben from the Winthrop community.

I encourage you to register here. You will get a long-sleeve t-shirt, finisher medal, and a racing bib. When you register, choose the Winthrop House team.

I plan to leave for the run from the guard’s office in Gore at 10am on 11/13. I am pretty slow, so please come along and help hold up the back of the line!
