About this Event
The Harvard Foundation is collaborating with the Harvard Eating Concerns Hotline and Outreach (ECHO) in a student-led dialogue that focuses on the history of present-day diet culture and its ties to white supremacy. We will discuss how eating disorders manifest in BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities, and we will explore how some health standards are grounded in both whiteness and systematic barriers to food and health care. ECHO will be there to support the conversation and provide resources for any students in need of extra support after the dialogue. The Harvard Foundation will provide sushi. 🍣 Hope to see you at Grays!
