About this Event
Add to calendarDani Rodrik (HKS) will discuss how globalization has evolved over time, how some models of globalization are more successful than others, and what went specifically wrong with “hyperglobalization” – the specific version we pursued after the 1990s and until very recently. Rodrik will discuss how we can build a better globalization for the future, one that recognizes the multipolarity of the world order and will emphasize that countries have national economic and security interests that they want to safeguard while they want to reap the benefits of open markets.
