Join us at the Smith Campus Center's 10th floor on April 4th for "Unraveling injustice and power structures" a free conference unpacking and reframing the enduring reproduction of artificial hierarchies and delving into how caste and/or racial hierarchies continue to be perpetuated, linked, and normalized across the world. Keynote speaker: Dr. Suraj Yengde, PhD.
This event will also create opportunities for new inquiries into how caste and/or racial hierarchies are upheld within educational systems beginning in childhood, in violation of several articles of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child, and continuing throughout all stages of life.
A reception will follow at 6:15pm. Virtual attendance via Zoom is available.
