The Women's Center's Transformational Leadership Awards honor three seniors at Harvard College who have demonstrated transformational leadership in any field and who have made a meaningful impact on fellow students, the campus, and /or the community. As a result of their leadership, they have set an example that inspires or empowers women at Harvard College to assume leadership responsibilities. We encourage all members of the Harvard community, including students, faculty, and staff to nominate seniors graduating in spring 2023 or fall 2023. Seniors are encouraged to ask others to submit a letter of nomination on their behalf, however self-nominations will not be accepted. 

After a senior is nominated, the nominee will be contacted to submit an application describing their transformational leadership in action according to the rubric found on our website. In early spring, an award committee comprised of faculty and staff selects the winner from the pool of completed applications.  The three recipients will receive a cash prize of $500 and be recognized at the Dean of Students Office Leadership Awards at the end of the spring semester.
