About this Event
Shareholder Capitalism arose, in part, as a way for corporations to participate in strengthening democratic institutions to combat the Soviet Union. As concerns posed by Communism have faded, the new threats of environmental degradation, social unrest, and authoritarianism have become prominent. In this talk, Professor Ethan Rouen will discuss how Capitalism is evolving to address these issues, and what tools are needed to maximize private sector participation in developing solutions.
