This event, which will take place on Zoom on Thursday, October 27 from 3pm to 4pm, features Dr. Tessa Charlesworth discussing implicit bias. Recent years have seen an increase in awareness around the idea of "implicit bias" and its many consequences for individual actions and for our society. But what is implicit bias, really? This lecture will discuss the science behind implicit bias – how it is measured and identified, the ways it develops in childhood and across the lifespan, and how it shapes our world.
