The Fromm Players at Harvard concerts feature performances of works by living and influential composers performed by professional ensembles dedicated to the performance of contemporary music. This year’s event features large-scale works by two of the most adventurous and influential composers of our time, Enno Poppe and Chaya Czernowin. The concert will feature the internationally acclaimed contemporary music ensemble, Klangforum Wien from Vienna, Austria performing Poppe’s Prozession and Czernowin’s The Fabrication of Light. The works are both one hour long; each is a small universe of its own. The superimposition of the two pieces is a provocative offering.

Imaginative, virtuosic, and perceptive – Klangforum Wien draws from an unmistakable sound and creates spaces for experiences that challenge audiences. This ensemble of 24 musicians from ten countries explores new horizons of artistic creativity together with the most important composers of our time.

Free tickets available at the Harvard Box Office and Music Department. Handling fees apply to online and phone orders. Free parking will be available at 52 Oxford St.
