About this Event

Deep listening, as described by composer Pauline Oliveros, is a practice of listening in every possible way to everything possible to hear." This can become a way of being in a new kind of relation with ourselves and our environment, fostering experiences of embodied connection.
This event, led by Paula Ortiz and Lia Pikus, is the initial session for the Spring Deep Listening Workshop Series funded by the Harvard Culture Lab Innovation Fund. Join us for an evening of engaging Deep Listening as a practice of perceptual expansion that blends Pauline Oliveros' framework with sonic meditations, sound baths, and group vocalization.
