Strategy and Media: Behind the Scenes of Some of the Nation's Major Political Campaigns of the Past Decade

From Gideon's 2020 U.S. Senate Race in Maine to Warnock's 2020 U.S. Senate Special Election and Run-Off, from the gubernatorial races this November to the 2022 midterm elections, and looking back on some of the races that have determined control of the United States Senate today, media advertising, communicating and strategy are always an essential and enormous part of political campaigns and their outcomes. This study group session will give you an inside look at how a campaign comes together, the dynamics of earned media, public speaking, debates and political ad making and the relationship between policy making, governing and campaigning.

Speaker Gideon will be joined by Adam Magnus, Partner at Magnus Pearson Media
