https://iop.harvard.edu/events/study-group-brett-rosenberg-getting-it-right-home-and-abroad-cybersecurity-informationThis week, we'll delve into the role cybersecurity and disinformation tactics are playing in the 2024 election and beyond. Attempted foreign interference has become a new feature of U.S. elections, from Russia's efforts in 2016 to Iran's recent hack of the 2024 Trump campaign. How do policymakers handle cybersecurity and information policy decisions that cut across neat domestic and foreign policy lines? How do these decisions impact particular domestic constituencies differently, and how can policymakers’ choices and responses better protect our democracy?
