Words Made Flesh: Original spoken word poetry on love, loss and bodies. A selection of original poetry spoken aloud, centered around themes of faith, Black life and the 'material'. What words emerges at the place where sound, spirituality and skin meet?
Sarah Adegbite HDS '26 is a poet and theologian shaped in the seam of Black diaspora and Christian identity. She is interested in the 'prophetic' in Black literature, Christian decolonial theology, and archives of slavery. She brings an adolescence spent in Pentecostal, Catholic and Anglican communities across multiple European cities to bear on this work. She is currently a Master of Theological Studies candidate at Harvard Divinity School.
