About this Event
Inclusive storytelling has the power to change attitudes and perspectives. But what impact do technology, social media and different platforms play in revolutionary storytelling? And how do you harness the power of the medium to tell your story most effectively and to the broadest audience? Nieman Foundation Fellow Amber Payne ('21) will share examples from her career as a broadcast producer, multimedia journalist and host, leading a discussion on how to bring inclusive storytelling into your newsroom or community.
This is event is part of a series organized by the Dean of Students Office at Harvard Extension School: Common Knowledge: Promoting Inclusive & Intellectual Exchange. Common Knowledge sessions aim to foster academic exploration and to spark curiosity among Harvard students by bringing students into conversation with those who represent diverse voices from across the University.
