What does it actually means to “do research”? Learn how to find a research adviser, important questions to ask, different ways to fit it in your schedule, and how to find funding. MCS Premed/Pre-health advisers, Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (URAF), Life Sciences Education, Pre-health Peer-Advisor Fellows, and upperclassmen will be on hand to answer questions and help you think about next steps. This workshop is geared towards first-year students and sophomores, but all undergraduates are welcome.
