The HBS community is invited to a celebration of Women’s History Month with a virtual piano recital featuring pianist Lisa Qiya Li '23 with a guest appearance by cellist Maddie Tucker '23. The recital will feature a variety of musical selections in addition to narratives by Lisa on her musical journey.

About the artist
Lisa grew up in Tianjin, China and is now a second year MBA at Harvard. Lisa started playing the piano since the age of four and immediately fell in love with the Romantic musical traditions of the nineteenth century. Lisa continues playing till this day. Her wildest dream is to democratize classical music, often perceived as an inaccessible art form.

 “Sharing beauty with the world is an important part of my identity and is the raison d'être of my lifelong musical pursuits. In this unconventional piano recital, I hope to take you on a musical journey of my own, demystify the 'classical' genre, and share the timeless beauty that defines our common humanity.”
