About this Event
Add to calendarWe are delighted to share that Chilean-born tenor saxophonist Melissa Aldana will lead a guest masterclass in an event open to the Harvard community. This event is the first of five masterclasses hosted by Yosvany Terry, senior lecturer of music, and all 12 Harvard Houses, as part of an inter-house initiative, "Performing and Making Art in Real Time." The initiative is co-hosted by the Office for the Arts and provides opportunities for students who are part of the Jazz rhythm section to play music together in person at Lowell Lecture Hall. The session will include live performance from the students and commentary from Melissa Aldana and Terry. All students are welcome to participate in the event.
