Multiple Grammy Award winner, drummer and composer Jeff “Tain” Watts will lead a guest masterclass, in an event open to the Harvard community. This event is the third of five masterclasses hosted by Director of Harvard Jazz Ensembles and Senior Lecturer for Music Yosvany Terry and all 12 Harvard Houses, as part of an inter-house initiative, "Performing and Making Art in Real Time." The program will provide opportunities for students who are part of the Jazz rhythm section to play music together in person at Lowell Lecture Hall. The session will include live performance from the students and commentary from Watts and Terry. All are welcome.
