Join the Office for the Arts at Harvard for an informal lunch conversation with Diane Paulus '88 and Karina Cowperthwaite '23. Paulus is the Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director of the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University. 

Paulus has directed many productions at A.R.T. including Pippin (Tony Award, Best Revival and Best Director), The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess (Tony Award, Best Revival; NAACP Award, Best Direction), and WILD: A Musical Becoming. Paulus is Professor of the Practice of Theater in Harvard University’s English Department and Department of Theater, Dance & Media. 

Cowperthwaite is a director and playwright, and Co-President of the Asian Student Arts Project (ASAP). She directed a Pan-Asian adaptation of Legally Blonde as well as write, directed and acted in an original play titled Ugly Feelings at the Loeb Drama Center. She also served as Assistant Director on WILD: A Musical Becoming.
