About this Event
Add to calendarBe among the first to hear the first public reading of NIGHTTOWN, a new opera libretto, with musical excerpts, commissioned and produced by Lowell House Opera from Benjamin Perry Wenzelberg '21. The opera adapts episodes of James Joyce's modernist retelling of Homer's Odyssey, Ulysses, reframing the action through the lens of its central female character Molly Bloom. The reading, which features Harvard College students and Boston actors, will conclude with a post-show discussion with members of the creative team. This event takes place with support from the Office for the Arts at Harvard.
