Dr. Marc Okrand is a linguist best known for creating the Klingon language from Star Trek, which has since been featured in dictionaries, a Duolingo course, novels, plays, an opera, and more. He has also worked on Vulcan and Romulan and created the Atlantean language for the Disney film Atlantis: The Lost Empire.This event is hosted by the Harvard Undergraduate Linguistics Society and the Harvard-Radcliffe Science Fiction Association.
