Join the Harvard Art Museums and the Center for Wellness for an experiential session in art and awareness through mindfulness practices on Thursday, March 17th from 11 am - 12:15 pm in our East Asian Buddhist art gallery (1610). Through guided meditation, we will center and ground our bodies and minds, welcoming a more open, spacious, compassionate and relaxed experience of being present and engaging with the world. We can bring this into our day and our encounters in the museum, as we see more expansively, and with greater clarity. Following our meditation session, we will gather in the Naumburg Room for snacks and drinks concluding at 1 pm. Please register here.
Beginners welcome, no prior meditation experience necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes as seating will be limited. Please plan to enter the Museums through the Broadway Entrance (around the corner from the main Museum entrance and across the street from the Sackler Building). We will meet in the Lower Level Lobby by the red chairs promptly at 11 am.
