About this Event
This short-term 6-session therapy group is to help students manage anxiety about being judged in various situations—especially when it is significantly holding them back.
Consider this: Do you have anxiety…
• Talking in Zoom meetings?
• Making presentations?
• Interacting with people you don’t know well?
• Networking?
• Talking to professors?
• Talking to students of the same or opposite gender?
• Making friends?
• Talking to people in formal situations?
• In interviews?
• Asking people out on dates?
• Sending emails or texts?
• Writing on the whiteboard?
• Being watched while doing activities, like playing games or sports, eating, or doing lab work?
If you answered yes to several of these questions, this therapy group may be right for you.
NOTE: This is an evidence-based brief-treatment group for social anxiety, so please plan to attend all 6 of the sessions. If you are interested, email the group leader directly and include your Student ID number, which allows CAMHS to securely message the workshop/group zoom link.
