This is an in-person drop-in skills series (M-W-F) at CAMHS to help  undergraduate and graduate students manage their emotions and stress.

Each day a CAMHS clinician facilitates a small psychoeducational group to offer a coping strategy to take into your daily life. A variety of stress management and emotion regulation skills are informed by evidence-based approaches in mental health, including from the following modalities:

  • cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)

  • dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)

  • acceptance commitment therapy (ACT)

  • mindfulness and self-compassion (MSC)

  • psycho education on stress and the nervous system

While this is not a therapy group, you are invited to learn ways to cultivate greater calm and resilience.

See the CAMHS calendar for daily sessions, which are typically offered in the later afternoons (4pm) Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Please note the dates for afternoons when there will not be a group (holidays, group leader absence, etc).

  • Mon, 4pm – Augusta Davis
  • Friday, 4pm – Rue Wilson

Location: CAMHS, Smith Campus Center, 4th Floor (75 Mt. Auburn Street)

Open to all registered Harvard students who have paid the 2022-2023 Student Health Fee. Please go to CAMHS front desk and have  your student ID.
