Schlesinger Library

Add to calendar

The Harvard College EDI Team is committed to celebrating history and heritage months. The HCWC (Harvard College Women’s Center) is so appreciative of our consistent partnership with the Schlesinger Library, a leading repository for special collections documenting the history of women, gender, and sexuality in the United States, and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to highlight the materials in the Schlesinger Library’s collections that document the lives and work of Jewish women in America. The Schlesinger Library’s collections document Jewish women's experiences across media (audiotapes, transcripts, articles, notes for lectures, conference programs, photographs, cookbooks, zines, newsletters, diaries, and more), with an emphasis on material from the 20th century through the present day.

During this Jewish American Heritage Month themed study break, lunch will be served, and participants will have the opportunity to not only learn more about the Schlesinger Library’s collections, but see some of the primary sources from the archives, too.

RSVPs encouraged.
