https://ofa.fas.harvard.edu/bricksGet involved in a participatory art installation led by a team of College students in partnership with the Office for the Arts and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences: "If these bricks could speak…"
The red bricks that make up Harvard’s built environment have witnessed centuries of personal and public history, from individual transformation to societal upheaval. This installation invites each student to etch their own personal mark onto a brick—the age-old material that constitutes our campus.
In Spring 2022, we will use these bricks to create a cohesive installation. Customize your own brick on Friday, October 22nd at the Science & Engineering Complex Makerspace in Allston (there will be more brick-making events throughout the semester in other locations—stay tuned!).
