https://sites.harvard.edu/foreign-policy/The Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative (HUFPI) is thrilled to announce the launch of the inaugural HUFPI Changemaker Award, celebrating individuals who have made significant contributions at the intersection of foreign policy, cultural advocacy, and human rights. In honor of our 5th anniversary, we are proud to present this year's award to Nymphia Wind for her tireless work advancing LGBTQ+ rights, advocating for Taiwanese culture, and championing cultural diplomacy in Taiwan's complex geopolitical landscape.
To celebrate Nymphia Wind's remarkable achievements, we invite you to a special panel discussion on December 6, 2024, from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM. The panel will be co-moderated by a Harvard Faculty member with expertise in LGBTQ+ legal issues, alongside Jama Willis, one of HUFPI's co-presidents, a representative from the Taiwanese Cultural Society, and Nymphia herself. This engaging discussion will explore the intersection of LGBTQ+ rights, Taiwan’s cultural diplomacy, and the role of foreign policy in shaping global human rights movements.
This event is organized by the Office of BGLTQ Student Life, the Taiwanese Cultural Society, the Chinese Students Association, and the Harvard Korean Association.
