What is the Harvard University Peer Coaching Initiative?

The Harvard University Peer Coaching Initiative is a non-credit, non-competitive professional development opportunity for Harvard students and researchers who want to

  • Develop their  leadership and collaboration skills

  • Get to know peers from elsewhere in the University

  • Stay more centered and productive during their time at Harvard

Participants say:

  • It’s a great way to improve interpersonal skills, gain more self-awareness and develop a deeper connection with someone at Harvard.
  • Peer Coaching was the magic for me to overcome imposter syndrome.
  • Being vulnerable, respectful, and present are essential life skills we need in this time.... Peer coaching is a great way to practice those skills.
  • I’m so glad my peer coach challenged me to meet with my professor about career paths.
  • An amazing opportunity to get to know yourself and practice a structured framework which helps you support others.
  • This is not a high time commitment, but very high value.

Don’t miss this chance to build community and connect with others at Harvard!
