The Office for the Arts at Harvard welcomes artist, ceramicist, social activist, poet, and educator Roberto Lugo to campus November 17-18, 2024 as part of its Learning From Performers program. The schedule includes two hands-on-making events for Harvard College Undergrads and a free public lecture.  

Registration for the following events for Harvard College Undergrads will open at 2:00pm on September 18:

• Sunday, November 17 3:00-5:00pm - Wheel-throwing demonstration and hands-on making event at the Ceramics Program in Allston. Learn how to decorate a pre-thrown vessel with patterns and visual elements derived from streetwear. Open to all levels. 

• Monday, November 18, 1:00-3:00pm - Surface decoration demonstration and hands-on making event for Harvard College Undergrads at the Ceramics Program in Allston. Learn to create patterns inspired by your lived experiences and transfer them to a pre-made tile.
