The Harvard Arts Medal is awarded each year to recognize the excellence and achievement of a distinguished alum whose work in the arts has had lasting impact. The 2026 recipient is acclaimed theater director and innovator Bill Rauch ‘84, Artistic Director of the Perelman Performing Arts Center in New York City and co-director of the current Broadway hit Cats: The Jellicle Ball. During this celebratory event, students will perform selected highlights from Rauch’s career, and Rauch will be in conversation with colleagues Amy Brenneman ’86, MDS ‘26, James Bundy ‘81 and R.J. Cutler ’81.
