Dedicated to the practice and performance of orchestra music at Harvard University and within the broader Cambridge community, the Student Center Orchestra is the community orchestra of Harvard’s Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School for Arts and Sciences. The Student Center Orchestra is composed primarily of Harvard graduate students, staff, and post-docs from across the university and aims to create and maintain a focused and inclusive environment to enjoy the experience of music-making. On our concert programs, we emphasize under-heard stories and voices from classical music history and Harvard history.
