The Graduate Students Group provides a safe and confidential online space in which to share your experience and concerns related to being a graduate student at Harvard University.

Start date subject to change.

Themes discussed include managing stress, balancing work and self-care, attending to relationships, navigating difficult conversations, getting unstuck, managing perfectionism and the internal critic, imposter syndrome, and fostering resilience.

This is a therapy process group and it can be helpful when graduate students have had some prior therapy experience or attended another CAMHS skills workshop or group. This group is intended to provide members with support, affirmation and interpersonal learning, while also providing some skills and strategies to enhance well-being.  Students are offered a screening appointment with Dr. Turnbull to ask any questions they may have and make sure this group is the right fit.

Limited to 10 members.

Only for currently enrolled graduate students who have paid the 2024-2025 Student Health Fee.

Interested students should contact the group facilitator to confirm eligibility to participate in the group, with their student ID number.  Students and the group facilitator can discuss the group and the possibility of other resources if there are any restrictions.

For more information contact Frances Turnbull, Ed.D. at fturnbull@huhs.harvard.edu
