https://bit.ly/4jkQgwqJoin curatorial fellow Cambra Sklarz for a discussion of a new installation that surveys the theme of wind. With a focus on works on paper spanning from the 17th to the 20th century, this talk explores how artists have taken up the challenge of making wind visible in their art. Sklarz will consider the intersections of art making and energy use through the lens of today’s pressing environmental crises. The installation is on view in Gallery 2700.
This gallery talk is part of our New on View series, highlighting recent gallery installations and presenting new insights into recent acquisitions or old favorites.
