DESCRIPTION:Learn the concepts\, culture\, and format of a freestyle dance 
 battle in this introduction to the battle workshop. Freestyle dancer and v
 eteran battle organizer Stiggity Stackz will introduce you to his internat
 ionally recognized Stackin’ Stylez battle format. You’ll learn core fr
 eestyle principles or concepts such as Sacred Geometry (exploring lines\, 
 angles\, and intricate movements)\, Thread Thyself (moving through negativ
 e space)\, Fixed Points\, and more\, which guide dancers in improvisationa
 l movement as well as create a clear framework for judging across movement
  styles. Members from The Era Footwork Collective will provide an insight 
 to what their battle sessions look like and the role it serves in developi
 ng the next generation of dancers. The workshop will close with an opt-in 
 mini battle where all will have the opportunity to participate.\n\nFor all
  levels of experience and movement styles. Free and open to the public. Pa
