Join the Food Literacy Program (FLP) on Friday, Nov. 15 from 11 AM to 11:45 AM to tour the iconic Annenberg Hall's kitchen! Beyond its Hogwarts-esque grandeur and magnificent stained-glass windows, Annenberg is also impressive for the sheer scale of its daily operations which serve around 3,000 students daily. We will personally see and learn about the well-coordinated, behind-the-scenes work that ensures every meal is inclusive, fresh, nutritious, sustainable, and locally sourced. Let's have fun together by exploring the inner kitchens, industrial ovens, and conveyor belts while learning more about the considerations behind menus and methods used to repurpose food waste!
