Join the artist Eve Fowler and the curator Meg Rotzel for a two-part ArtsThursdays event highlighting Fowler’s film and visual arts practice. Beginning at the Johnson-Kulukundis Gallery, a tour of the exhibition words doing as they want to do will highlight the process and content of Fowler’s new series of paintings. After, join Fowler for a film screening hosted in collaboration with the Carpenter Center for Visual Arts. The screening will be followed by a discussion and Q and A that expand upon the artist’s ongoing engagement with archives, queer and feminist history, and the intersections of memory, poetry, and visual art.
