About this Event
The 2nd Annual Harvard Undergraduate UNICEF Club Conference, Empowering Humanity: The Call for Renewed Humanitarianism Amidst COVID-19, aims to create a collaborative space for high school and college students from diverse backgrounds to learn about humanitarian issues exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, engage with existing pioneers and actors in these subject areas, and explore innovative solutions for children globally as we evolve and adapt to this new normal.
Empowering Humanity is a two-day conference consisting of panels, workshops, and team building exercises that discuss how COVID-19 has impacted governance structures, frontline workers, and migration patterns worldwide. This conference will also showcase discussions on how humanitarian policy, technology, and art have been used to positively impact those in need amidst the pandemic. We hope our conference will serve as a central hub for innovative thinking to serve the world’s most vulnerable populations in the future.
