The Wellness team is excited to launch the Dunster Mindfulness Workshop! This workshop will include three 30-minute Intro to Mindfulness sessions, which will be held in the Dunster Small Courtyard at 7pm on 9/14, 9/21 and 9/28. You are welcomed to join as many sessions as you would like, although we ask you to please RSVP here 
 
A little more information about Mindfulness and what to expect in the workshop:
 
Mindfulness is practicing moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and our surrounding environment with curiosity, kindness, and self-compassion.  This experiential workshop will introduce the foundational skills of mindfulness through conceptual overview, guided sitting meditation, and group reflection & discussion. You'll learn concrete skills to ground your attention in the present moment and calm the body & mind. You'll also learn more about ways to get involved with mindfulness programs on campus and get an access code for top-rated mindfulness app, Ten Percent Happier.  All are welcome, no prior meditation experience necessary. This workshop will be led by Nina Bryce, Mindfulness Coordinator at the Center for Wellness & Health Promotion (CWHP) - you can contact her with any questions here: nbryce@huhs.harvard.edu
