In this installment of the W. E. B. Du Bois Research Institute Colloquium Series, DaMaris B. Hill, a professor with the University of Kentucky's Creative Writing Program, will present on her forthcoming work Blood Bible: An American HistoryBlood Bible bridges personal histories with archival materials, and wrestles with how we historically and collectively claim belonging. It also questions how we curate, create, and understand home. These ideas about home are contrasted with speculations about the limits of geography, migrations of people, and historical moments in the context of empire.

Hutchins Center events and exhibitions are accessible, free, and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
