We are really excited to share our first joint event with the Hutchins Center for African & African American Research’s Hiphop Archive & Research Institute. On Monday, March 24, HAPIDA (Harvard Asian Pacific Islander Desi Association of Faculty and Staff) and ABFAF (Association of Black Faculty, Administrators, and Fellows) will co-sponsor a special, free Hip Hop / Martial Arts Film event at the Brattle Theater.

Please join us with scholar on Afroasian culture, Marcus Evans, who will introduce us to a ~mystery~ martial arts film with unique ties to the American hip hop group The Wu-Tang Clan and then lead a Q&A after the film's screening (runtime: 115 minutes).
