The Office for the Arts at Harvard is excited to announce a partnership with the Cambridge Kiosk! If you are interested in having your artwork displayed in Harvard Square at the Kiosk's pop up exhibition (located right next to the Harvard T Station), please make sure to read the following information carefully!

What is the Theme for this exhibitionWe invite artists to submit work that engages with the theme of the exhibition: Art, Science, and Policy. Whether your work investigates scientific discovery, critiques institutional systems, or reflects on the social impact of research and governance, we welcome creative interpretations that challenge boundaries and spark dialogue. Our theme is inspired by the work of Kat Owens, whose large-scale mural work will be featured as a Make Art experience in the Yard on Saturday, May 2 at Arts Fest.

Who can submit artwork for the display: Current Harvard College undergraduates (first-years through seniors) only! 

When is this submission due: 11:59pm, March 23, 2026

When are artists notified of acceptance into the gallery: On Monday, April 6, 2026

When must artists drop of accepted works at the OFA: Between Monday April 6 and Friday April 10 during business hours (9am-5pm). 

Opening Reception: Thursday, April 30, 2026, 6–8 PM, kicking off Arts Fest.

Artist Talks: Saturday, May 2, 1–5 PM at the Kiosk

What is the display period for all artwork: If you are a graduating senior, your art will be available for pick up during 9am-5pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. If you are currently a first-year, sophomore, junior, or first semester senior, your artwork will be deinstalled from the Kiosk during the summer, stored at the OFA, and will be available for pick up the first week of the Fall 2026 semester. 

What types of pieces will be considered for this gallery: All 2D/ 3D mediums are accepted (paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc) as long as they are no larger than 2ft x 2ft, as well as videos. If you are a musician, and would like to perform at the reception, please fill out this form.
