The HAA Alumni Directory includes thousands of alums who have volunteered to offer career advice to students. Search them or look for a “Career Network” label when browsing alumni in your fields of interest. Log in and connect today.

We encourage you to use both of these platforms in January to reach out to Harvard College alums to set up informational “Coffee Chats” (either virtual or in person where appropriate)! This is a great opportunity to:

• Get career advice on different pathways.
• Strengthen your informational interviewing skills.
• Expand your support network as you consider opportunities beyond Harvard.
• Learn about their student and alumni life experiences.

If you’re not sure where to get started, first review the HAA 101 info session and attend an HAA Networking 101 event to learn more about how to access these platforms, what to write in your outreach to alums, and how to build and practice your networking skills.

After your outreach and chats, fill out this brief survey to let us know about your experience. While you have year-round access to these alumni advice and mentoring platforms, we encourage you to use these in January when you have time before classes start!
