The HAA Alumni Directory includes thousands of alumni who have volunteered to offer career advice to students. Search them or look for a “Career Network” label when browsing alumni in your fields of interest. Log in and connect today.

We encourage you to use both of these platforms in January to reach out to Harvard College alumni to set up 30-minute informational “Coffee Chats” (either virtual or in person where appropriate)! This is a great opportunity to:

• Get career advice on different pathways.
• Strengthen your informational interviewing skills.
• Expand your support network as you consider opportunities beyond Harvard.
• Learn about their student and alumni life experience.

If you’re not sure where to get started, first attend an HAA info session and HAA “Networking 101” event to learn more about how to access these platforms, what to write in your outreach to alumni, and how to build and practice your networking skills.

While you have access to these alumni advice and mentoring platforms year-round, we encourage you to use these in January when you have time before classes start!
