About this Event
Add to calendarThe Harvard-Radcliffe Asian American Womxn’s Association will be hosting a book club! We will be reading Cathy Park Hong’s Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning and engaging in discussions about issues pertaining to the Asian American community. All identities are welcomed!
Every week, the Asian American Womxn’s Association’s book club will meet to review essays from Cathy Park Hong’s Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning. We will reflect about the Asian American psyche, and themes of identity and otherness.
Our book club will be no larger than 20 members. Book club meetings will be once a week for an hour. We will begin each meeting with small introductions and icebreakers to foster a close-knit community within the book club. Then, we will move into a brief overview of major themes of the essay led by an AAWA lead, and introduce discussion questions. There will be small group discussions conducted through breakout rooms and also larger group discussions.
This will be a space for people to find community and talk about issues affecting Asian American communities. We hope you will join us!
