With special guests from the Writing Center and the Harvard libraries we’ll talk about what reading and writing courses are like at Harvard. Here are some sample questions you or your peers might ask:
Is writing different at Harvard than it was at my high school?
I’m a slow reader. Should I avoid reading classes?
My high school didn’t really have class discussions. How will I know when to talk?
What’s a seminar like at Harvard? How is it different from other courses?
What are the libraries like at Harvard? I hear they’re huge. How will I ever find anything?
I’m already getting anxious about Expos. How do I set myself up to succeed in that class?
What if I don’t think my Expos recommendation is right? Should I trust my gut?
This workshop will be presented twice - at 9am and at 12pm ET, and each session has a unique Zoom link.
