We have a wonderful opportunity to support one of our own and continue a meaningful community tradition. On Sunday, November 24, at 9:00 AM, I will be leading a group of Winthrop students on a walk/run to support Ben Abercrombie. As many of you know, Ben is a remarkable member of our community, and this event is a chance for us to come together to show our support.

The event, called “3.2 for Ben,” has received great coverage, including a feature in the Harvard Gazette, an appearance on ESPN’s College Gameday, and most recently, a story in The Harvard Independent. Ben, who is graduating this spring, has been a cherished fellow Winthropian to us all, and it would be great to rally together during his senior year!

Event Details:

  - Date & Time: Sunday, November 24 at 9:00 AM
  - Location: We will meet at the security guard’s office in Gore.
  - Distance: 3.2 miles (walking, jogging, and running are all welcome!)

You can register for the event and join the Winthrop House Team here. The registration fee is $32. However, if you're unable to formally register, you’re still more than welcome to participate in the walk/run

If you can’t make it on November 24, no worries! You can still take part by completing the 3.2 miles on your own and uploading your time.
