The annual Boston Area Antimicrobial Resistance Network (BAARN) meeting brings together the leading voices in academia and industry to address a defining global health crisis of our age: antibiotic resistant infection.
 

In a single day packed with scientific excellence, the 10th anniversary meeting of the Boston Area Antimicrobial Resistance Network will convene on Friday, December 8, 2023.

The meeting will feature:

• Three thematic sessions
• Four networking periods
• Twelve posters from local scientists
• Ten talks from innovative leaders in the top levels of academia, industry, and government, including:

The Boston Area Antibiotic Resistance Network was founded in response to the challenge, which has been called by some a looming crisis, of antibiotic resistance. The guiding philosophy of BAARN is to take a rational, scientific, information-based approach to understanding the problem of antibiotic resistance – in all of its dimensions – and to find a solution that is implementable and works. Affiliates of BAARN come from the highest levels of academics, industry, and government oversight agencies.

Advance registration is required: $100 per registrant; $50 per student or postdoc registrant. A reception immediately follows in the Queen's Head Pub in the basement of Memorial Hall
