The Iranian Gala @Harvard, this year scheduled on April 10, 2021, is a forum to honor the achievements of diverse members of the Iranian community. The Gala serves to connect current and future leaders and to engender a greater appreciation of the Persian culture and heritage.
This year, we are honored to have leaders in their fields join us, including:
- Professor Justine Landau, Associate Professor of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University
- Dr. Jamshid Ghajar, Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at Stanford University
- Alan Khazei, Social Entrepreneur and Honors graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School
- Lily Sarafan, Executive Chair of Home Care Assistance (HCA), where she led the company from startup to 10,000+ employee industry leader and largest private provider of home care for seniors in North America
- Mr. and Mrs. Madanipour, educators, who have made it their mission to teach Farsi and deepen a greater appreciation of the Persian Culture to countless youths in the Greater Boston community for over 30 years
