#chalktalkMSI chalk talks are informal seminars given to Harvard students, postdocs, staff, and faculty by Harvard students, postdocs, staff, and faculty. These talks provide a venue for sharing, discussing, and productively critiquing the latest and greatest work-in-progress and evolving stories from our many microbial scientists.
This week's Chalk Talk features Duncan Kountz: "Methanogen coenzyme M methyltransferases at the intersection of bacterial methionine and pigment biosynthesis"
In order to promote the sharing of unpolished works-in-progress among colleagues, chalk talks are restricted to Harvard affiliates only. To attend the Zoom, please use your Harvard email address to register HERE.
We will operate in accordance with Harvard University Guidelines for Sponsored Events, which are extrapolated from Massachusetts and CDC (national) guidelines. The details of the Harvard University policies can be found HERE. Briefly, that means that attendees must be masked unless actively eating or drinking. Eating and drinking will be discouraged during the meeting, but grab-and-go snacks will be available for attendees after the chalk talks.
Virtual option through Zoom, register HERE: https://harvard.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJMuceqvpz4iGN3W5zAJ77_sbdomFERRZl8S.
Note that for virtual option you MUST register with a Harvard email address or your registration will be denied/cancelled.
