The Beren Tennis Center, Harvard University's outdoor tennis facility, is named for Robert M. Beren '47 MBA '50 and was completely renovated and reopened in April of 2000. The state-of-the-art center boasts 18 courts-six of which feature stadium seating-a two-tiered pavilion with locker rooms, a media center, offices, court-viewing areas, and accommodates nearly 500 spectators. Additional ground areas are designated for temporary stands to allow for expanded seating. Combined with the six indoor courts at the Murr Center, the nationally-ranked tennis teams have perhaps the finest facilities of any team in the Northeast.
